Tukua kia tu takitahi ngã whetu i te rangi – Let each star in the sky shine its own light
Come and celebrate a Carterton Matariki in the Wairarapa Dark Sky Reserve. Peak through telescopes to see the dark side of the moon, Saturn and Mars, as well as (of course) the Matariki star cluster in all its glory. Hari and Sam of Star Safari will share their vast knowledge in a most infectious, friendly and Carterton way. Following sunrise, we will head to Kāinga Eatery in Carterton for kai & kōrero.
Friday 28 June, 6am start at Star Safari, 10am finish at Kāinga Eatery
